Bridgwater Arts Centre will welcome the acclaimed Kilima Quartet on Wednesday 2 September at 2.00pm as part of the popular Music by the River concert series, raising funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.
The concert promises a relaxing afternoon of favourite classical and light music performed by the talented string quartet, offering audiences the chance to enjoy live music in the intimate surroundings of Bridgwater Arts Centre.
Organised by Bridgwater’s newest concert promoters, Music by the River, the performance marks the third event in a highly successful summer programme of midweek afternoon concerts. The series has quickly established itself as a popular addition to the local cultural calendar while supporting an important charitable cause, with more than £1,000 already raised for St Margaret’s Hospice through the first two concerts.
Set against the backdrop of Bridgwater Arts Centre’s historic venue on Castle Street, the concert is designed to appeal to both classical music enthusiasts and those simply looking to enjoy an afternoon of uplifting live performance.
All profits from the event will be donated to St Margaret’s Hospice, helping to support the charity’s vital work across Somerset.
