Whether it’s checking out theatre performances, gigs, days out, local fairs, carnivals, sporting events, venues, exhibitions, country shows – the list is endless, I’m getting tired just typing it. Anyway, that’s why we are here, to help you choose. Simples.
I could put a picture here of us – but we are hardly oil paintings (especially my colleague Graham and as it’s me writing this I can say what I like), so here’s a picture of a pantomime dame instead to make you feel better.
I have dressed up as a dame for a bit of awful am-dram in our village hall, and wearing such clothing is very uncomfortable I can tell you.
About us?…..ummm, well we have been producing What’s on Somerset since 2007. It was then that Graham said to me (with his usual coffee breath), “I live in Taunton and I never know what happens in Yeovil.” Simple as that, even I understood what he meant. And so What’s on Somerset was born.
It’s not quite that literal of course, it’s about anywhere in Somerset, wherever you live or are staying. All of our writing and content team live here and love it. We hope you do too.
