Fancy a Fright with Your Pint? Somerset Storyteller Launches BIG Halloween Pub Crawl

Tour dates: Monday 26th October – Friday 30th October 2026

Content creator, storyteller and broadcaster Luke Knight is going on a big Somerset pub crawl tour this Halloween, to bring his chilling Bump in the Knight Tales talks to pubs across the county. Five nights. Five pubs. One big ‘Creepy Pub Crawlie’.

The Creepy Pub Crawlie is a five-night tour, stopping off at the following locations:

Monday 26th October: The Alhampton Inn

Tuesday 27th October: Eli’s Rose and Crown in Huish Episcopi

Wednesday 28th October: Old Down Inn, Chilcompton

Thursday 29th October: The Flying Fish, Ashill, near Ilminster

Friday 30th October: Ad Astra Cider, near Axbridge

All tickets can be bought online through www.knighttales.co.uk

Luke says;

“If you love a night out down the pub, and a good ghost story, then this is the perfect Halloween event for you. You can expect gruesome history, dark folklore and some of the freakiest ghost stories – many of them first-hand encounters – from Somerset. Our county really does have some dark stories underneath its beautiful landscape. Some of the paranormal stories still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. And I know what’s coming!”

“The talks are so much fun and the feedback I’ve had from recent events has been fantastic. Not only that but I have purposely chosen the friendliest, quirkiest and most historic pubs and tap rooms in Somerset; to try and drum up a bit of support for them at a time when hospitality is struggling. I’m told some of them even have a ghost or two. But I shan’t tell you which one…that would be telling.”
